Superintendents Leadership Network Institute (Cleveland, OH) 04.20.11 - 04.22.11

The Superintendents Leadership Network (SLN) Institute is open to SLN network members.

We are pleased that one of the premier medical centers in the world has agreed to host a learning experience for the network. Cleveland Clinic is a nonprofit multidisciplinary medical center integrating clinical and hospital care with research and education. With more than 4 million visits per year, this national and international medical center pursues continuous innovation in order to keep patients first.  As important leaders in their communities, superintendents are part of discussions about the complexities surrounding healthcare today.   This Institute will not only provide ideas about leadership and innovation applicable to school districts but will provide superintendents with rich background in healthcare possibilities.

The Institute will begin at 5:00 on April 20 and conclude by noon on April 22.

Testimonials

All students deserve to learn, and it is our job as educators to reach and meet the needs of all students – not just the 30 percent there to learn. Finally, I am part of a district that is fostering such a vision and mission! Finally, there is a center for educational reform (The Schlechty Center) out there reaching and teaching districts and schoolhouses across the nation and inspiring such a vision and mission!

The WOW Conference was incredible. I came away with a deeper understanding of the framework and have already implemented the "systems" thinking resources into our Central Office staff meetings.

Thank you for the ideas and the motivation. I always learn so much when I'm with you...even things I didn't expect.
